FreeOTFE doesn't need administrator rights once installed.
It's got a *much* more usable interface than truecrypt as well

"only if you are administrator"
OTFE is good, even better than TrueCrypt, but it works only if you logged in Windows as administrator. Supposed that you have files saved in encrypted volume in a thumb drive and you bring the drive to your customer, hoping to open it using OTFE. Your customer does not allow you to login as administrator for obvious security reasons. Sorry, you cannot run your OTFE at all.

this program is open source and has many option that makes it unique : 1. it if free , 2. it supports a very long password . , 3.it uses various options for selection of random data generation methods , and has more option for work with key/password than truecrypt .

"VERY GOOD"
this is better than truecrypt and has more options.
also its developer sarah dean replys your problems kindly .but for solving your problems with truecrypt(which is good software also ) you can not use yahoo mail . freeOTFE has a interesting homepage .go and see .there are a comparision of similar disc/volume encrypting software that is very usefull .freeOTFE accepts much longer passwords than truecrypt. good luck
