"it installs as service"
Cryptainer installs itself as application as well as a service. I don't understand the need to be a Windows service. The 25mB limitation simply tells you "Please don't use me. I am terribly user hostile." by: Henry | 1 | 2008-03-26 |

"Cryptainer LE"
There's nothing wrong with this as such, but a 25mb container isn't really enough for most peoples needs, so IMHO, Truecrypt is the way to go. by: deebee | 3 | 2007-12-03 |

"Unjustified"
I can't believe the unjustified negative comments about Cryptainer - check download.com for some mature feedback.
This program is MUCH simpler to use and now the 7.0.3.0 version has Blowfish 448 and AES 256. Truecrypt is better if you need more than 25MB PER VOLUME, but you can have as many volumes as you want. Regarding paying to upgrade, these guys have to make a living and this is not open source software. Cypherix's Cryptainer LE is a stable and extremely easy to use free program that I've been using for over a year, so don't listen to these idiots throwing it down just because they have found Truecrypt, an excellent, but somewhat harder to use program that is probably overkill for the average home user. by: Ian | 5 | 2007-02-10 |

"A teaser"
Size of the encrypted Data Vault is limited to 25Mb in this Free version (LE), though number of additional vaults is unlimited. 25Mb is small depending on what you're saving... BUT... with money you can get more: how nice. This method is tiring and I personnaly evacuate such software.
"TrueCrypt", another encryption software, is better technically speaking, has *no* vault size limit , is handier, and is *free*. by: Baloney | 2 | 2006-03-20 |

"secure?!"
I "locked up" some video files in Cryptainer. Then I ran a standard search from Windows menu. The files were listed and completely viewable. That's secure? JUNK by: Jason | 1 | 2006-02-02 |

"Exellento!"
This is a really good means of securing your data. You only get 20mb containers in the free LE version - put you can create unlimited number of these.
20mb is more than enough for securing sensative txt/word documents etc.

"Data Correction"
It allows you to do 20 MB of data for each container you create, and you can do unlimited containers. Excellent for free! by: | 5 | 2004-05-06 |

"Score Correction"
They should tell you up front before you download that this free version is only good for a maximum of 5megs of data.
