Tryed this program ones, but when I reinstalled my o/s I could never recover my old passwords! by: GravityFX | 3 | 2005-07-06 | | | | "A1 for Password Management"
I've tried several password management programs, but this one is by far, the most reliable, stable, and efficient one to date. With this program being built on the .Net framework, you'll have the ability to carry your passwords wherever you go. Install the program on a USB key and take your private info between the office and home or take them with you on vacation, without the worry of your private info being left on someone else's machine. I still can't believe this version is "FREE". Personally, I have the Professional edition, well worth the $19.95 (US). This is one program you won't be sorry you upgraded.

I have been using Access Manager for a long time, and it has become an indispensable program. Really, once you have used it you will be asking yourself how you managed without it.
Now it's been upgraded to version 2 which works just as fine, but looks a whole lot nicer :).
However, do yourself a favour and spend $20 on the Professional version which will give you even more features. You won't regret it! by: SirVuttel | 5 | 2004-10-20 | | | | "How did I manage before?"
I've used the old version for a while now (1.3) and I
thought I'd give Access Manager 2.0 a try. I'm glad I did!
What is so great about this program is that
It's Free - It Works - No Ads -
It does what I want and more.
It's set-up to save you time while keeping your
passwords safe, secure and manageable! I have
now exported my passwords and Pins to the new v2.0.
It's a similar layout to that of 1.3 but has many improvements.
There are plenty of options that are straight forward,
sensible and easy to understand that allow you
to set-up the program to your own preferences.
To use the program you just click the Icon on
your desktop and enter your master password.
You can then put all your passwords into groups (Types)
which allow you to organise and manage them simply
and effectively.
You get a notes page for every password
where you can enter unlimited notes. I put links to
websites in there which are clickable incidentally.
Drag and drop is a great feature - the time that has
saved me! There is also a nifty link and button on
each password that lets you open a website,
file, folder, document or program.
I've now got the Pro version which has a load more
features like a password selector which I use for
internet banking - A challenge and response table
is kept for each password for password authentication -
encrypt and decrypt option for securing documents
that I don't want others to see and a secure deletion
option where I can remove a file from my hard drive
which cannot be retrieved.
Overall - I'm really pleased I found this program.
