Other Thoughts: this wee program is worth a go and could be a good addition to whatever security setup you may have. the only niggle i had was it seemed to clash with spyware terminators shield at start up. to be fair i have no idea why and after a few boot ups it seemed to sort itself out. (may be st's shield as its pretty awful at start up,) to be sure i added it to st's white list and have had no problems since.could not get the disc cleaner to work so i can only assume an update will appear at some point. its mostly straight forward in terms of set up and once you have spent 10mins on it, it runs silently in the background. glad to see its easy on the old ram, approx 26mb in normal running mode. il stick with it for now and post an update later. its worth a go.. Other Thoughts: 4get this beta version...get the 5.1 version (non beta) and all functions including the Google anti-tracking should be working.Either this beta version doesn't let it run or the authors review is wrong...I use v3.3.8 so I can see what's going on.As it has a feature on it this one doesn't;"external privacy protection",which supposedly sends out 'phantoms'.Version 4's o.k,e.1's o.k,just the H.D.D speedup function wasn't working.oh, see it has extra function."internet rescue",but not made yet.Interesting...look out for v6 then....Was this review helpful? 20 out of 39 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure what triggered here but apparently there was a clash of resident shields "the RPC server is unavailable"..along with Avast AV and many security configuration settings , locked out of folders, empty folders and folders or programs with functions that wouldn't work, process that wouldn;t load , long empty blue screen delay upon log on, many lost indexes ... uninstalling either Secure or Avast made no difference nor did reinstalling the OS (not a clean install) which froze midway through. Other Thoughts: I have secretmaker 3.8 on my PC, which is pretty good.4 sucked.But 5 is great, all round.BUT...the intruder blocker is great BUT when you want to download something from the net, it may prevent it, but you can turn it off, and carry on.Do this at your own risk.Check your download with at least 2 great Antivirus scanners and Adware SE Pro/Adwatch's 'scan for adware' if you can...Oh on my second review I've added get it from 'Author' as I had a bit of trouble geting it from 'PlaneT' and freewarefiles' or update it directly from Secretmaker 3 or 4 if you have it installed.Was this review helpful? 18 out of 30 users found this review helpful.
