"v- 1.2.0.9"

While it does do essentially what it claims, it seems to have a connection consistency problem. It will automatically try to reconnect after losing it but it seems to have to do this approaching intolerance/annoyance to me.
And in some of its Setup modules, items are sometimes displayed and at other times , not.
My point is it's variable , not on blocking one's IP but staying connected.
This didn't use to be the case.

"v- 1.2.0.8"

Using its default Guest designation once supplied the user with 74kbps inbound traffic rate; now it offers 54kbps -- and outbound traffic rate is now 31kbps.
One must pay to get higher rates (see web site).

I'm trying it on a stand-alone, 56k dial-up; the pages/surfing is a bit slowed (sometimes), downloads appear to be unaffected but the SMPT (outbound mail) on port 25 is restricted (denied)

So, since it does work, technically, I'd give it a 3.5 to 4 --- for this type of setup.

Hmmm, Verm8, my ad-blocker blocked that web site URL you gave.
Try www.Auditmypc.com for an anonymity tester.

Anyhoo, this program is very easy to work (despite the rather intimidating looking screenshot).
After install, it reboots, detects your settings and if you have an internet connection, hit its connect button; that's basically it (though I did review its Setup).
It alters your connecting to internet location (thus your area code), IP and host name.
The traffic rate is good (for my setup , anyway)--- right click the tray icon for that and other options.
Has a bit of weight on the memory side but nothing off-putting for its service (a RAM "defragger" helps, iffin ya want).
So, at this juncture, it looks very good.

"OK.But.."

In regards to hiding our IP address, does it really hide it from my www.myip.com and other sites of this nature? If it doesn't,then it's useless in hiding your IP.
