I just feel that it would be prudent to specify the program as a monitor -- continual run -- maybe you had but it's not prominent/clear.
On 2kpro, when I did engage the pause/unpause option, I did see a half-second black flash on the bottom LEFT of my screen as well as the same blur every time I hit that option.
The memory amount wasn't offputting but the CPU load may be

As for the (scan) label, it actually denotes a hotkey. When Autorun Eater is paused, a black translucent bar appears just above your tray item clock. The (pause) label doesn't determine if the tool is running or paused.
About the memory usage, I'm working on it. If you anymore enquiries please visit our official blog.
Thank you for trying our tool.

A scanner conotes a stop/done point-- I ran this 3 (plus) hours and I have no idea what it's doing. (I made sure it was running via the increased CPU usage-- bounced around 50% on normal-- because the pause/unpause selecter always says "(pause)" and it always says "scan started".
It has two processes that run: combined RAM usage ~2mb; combined Virtual mem. ~7mb: istalled size ~1.58mb ; that's about all I know for sure
I didn't see my answer in the Help file, maybe you can...
