"It Works!"
And how! Autorun had been troubling me for a long time. I stumbled upon the eater acccidentally when I googled autorun on a whimand ran across it. It also fixed my missing Folder Options problem. and it did both of these very fast, taking hardly any time to install. t was a true Cyber Rescue for me. Tools should be like this one. by: Masterpiece | 5 | 2009-07-11 |

"Excellent!"
I can definitely vouch for this program. I had this weird error message on a PC I was working on, and it would generate this unable to recycle or some error that shouldn't have been there when you double click drive C:
The computer was acting up & doing some weird things. I googled a few key phrases, & I came across your program. Added your program to a flash drive & had it scan both the PC & the flash drive.
It removed some malicious code that had infected the PC and caused it to work again!
Thank you for rescuing me! by: John | 5 | 2009-06-02 |

That's a flase positive detection by AVG. I've contacted them and they've fixed it. Update AVG and try installing again. by: Old McDonald | 5 | 2008-12-27 |

"RE., Old McDonald"
Thanks for the reply (and for putting on Developer's Discription what the updates are-- a too rarity).
I just feel that it would be prudent to specify the program as a monitor -- continual run -- maybe you had but it's not prominent/clear.
On 2kpro, when I did engage the pause/unpause option, I did see a half-second black flash on the bottom LEFT of my screen as well as the same blur every time I hit that option.
The memory amount wasn't offputting but the CPU load may be by: mweizor | 3 | 2008-02-03 |

-mweizor, Autorun Eater is a monitoring tool, it only warns you when a suspicious file is detected.
As for the (scan) label, it actually denotes a hotkey. When Autorun Eater is paused, a black translucent bar appears just above your tray item clock. The (pause) label doesn't determine if the tool is running or paused.
About the memory usage, I'm working on it. If you anymore enquiries please visit our official blog.
Thank you for trying our tool. by: Old McDonald | 5 | 2008-02-03 |

"v- 2.1"
Is this a monitor or a scanner?
A scanner conotes a stop/done point-- I ran this 3 (plus) hours and I have no idea what it's doing. (I made sure it was running via the increased CPU usage-- bounced around 50% on normal-- because the pause/unpause selecter always says "(pause)" and it always says "scan started".
It has two processes that run: combined RAM usage ~2mb; combined Virtual mem. ~7mb: istalled size ~1.58mb ; that's about all I know for sure
I didn't see my answer in the Help file, maybe you can... by: mweizor | 1 | 2008-02-03 |
