"Illegal Castling"
I was playing white , softchess black. It permitted an illegal
castling as shown below.
1. e2-e3 Ng8-f6
2. f2-f4 d7-d5
3. Ngl-f3 Bc8-g4
4. g2-g3 Nb8-c6
5. Bf1-e2 Qd8-d6
6. Rh1-g1 Bg4:f3 // white rook moves h1-g1 making castling kingside illegal
7. Be2:f3 Ke8-c8 // black castles a legal move
8. Rg1-h1 e7-e5 // white rook returns to h1, castling kingside still illegal
9. Ke1-g1 Qd6-b4 // softchess permits an illegal castling
Please fix this bug. I will test the program for other bugs and notify you accordingly.

A good, basic chess game. A small sized download, it gives you several options for gameplay, including the ability to change the colors of the board and/or pieces. If you are looking for a basic chess game for your computer, look no further.

"This game is great"
I like this game so much I had to come back and download it to my laptop. It's wonderful if you want to learn new stragety. Would like for ctrl+z to work to undo moves, but otherwise a fabulous product.
