"Why?" This would've been a great program five years (or more!) ago. Today? about as poor as you can get. 1. The interface is poorly designed, unintuitive, and not very streamlined. 2. Implementation of an adventure is not nearly as well-conceived as more powerful (and more well documented) text-based tools such as Inform or TADS. 3. Way too many people tried to boost this product's rating. There is only one "real" comment in the reviews. If you want to write a text adventure, take a look at Inform or TADS--both of which can handle everything that this "engine" can, and more. If you want to make a real role-playing game, take a look at a number of other programs (especially Neverwinter Nights, with the Aurora editor; or Morrowind, with its built-in editor.) by: Nathan	1	2004-04-06
