Pros: For anyone wanting /needing to check a file hash this is by far the Simplest Tool I have ever seen. Cons: none Other Thoughts: adding a selectable choice for the hash to generate would be great, rather than generating all the hashes, especially when the file is large in size (ISOs, disk images, etc.) Was this review helpful? 29 out of 62 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Whether something is outdated or not depends on what do you use it for. If you want to verify important files downloaded from the net quickly, this program is great!
Majority of websites still using CRC-32, MD5, or SHA-1, so why would you need something else for this purpose? Was this review helpful? 48 out of 89 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Yes we're rating the software's functionality, but it's annoying to see it appear on several different software sites, only to discover there really hasn't been an update to the program itself.
Only a 3 because it only supports technologically outdated algorithms (CRC-32, MD5, SHA-1, and yes, even SHA-1 is outdated). Was this review helpful? 44 out of 86 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: If the author chooses to change the version for added languages, so be it. We are rating on the software's functionality and usefulness.
Does exactly what it says, and quite elegantly. Great freeware! Was this review helpful? 40 out of 82 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: I've been using this for quite a while--it's a great choice if you check SHA1 and MD5 hashes. Was this review helpful? 46 out of 96 users found this review helpful.
