"Features that Should Be in Explorer"

If you have multiple explorer windows open regularly and want just one open than this is for you.

Is a bit of delay just like any other Explorer plugin but, if you are constantly opening and closing explore you most likely have other issues.

Have been using since early release without any hassle on XP(SP2).

Definitely not a trojan. Instead of a bloated install file the developer puts the install/uninstall feature right into the application instead adding unnecessary registry entries.

"Good, good"

Seems to work fine on XP, if you got a decent system & keep your system relatively spyware/trojan free.

Vista? I am not sure about, maybe your better off upgrading to XP.

I say upgrading because once you are wrongfully deemed a pirate by Vista Activation, & you are kicked off your own computer, forced into black & white mode with only web access for about an hour before Microsoft shuts your pc down.

Yes, even though you are a LEGIT user, but they get you confused.... You will see the benefit of down, I mean, upgrading to windows XP.

"Wow, this is *almost* a trojan!!"

Once it's installed, it leaves NO executable behind to interact with it, NO help files, NO uninstall option in Add/Remove_Programs, NO directory with its own name, NO way to interact with it at all!! The only way to uninstall it is to download the program again and run the install, which offers an uninstall option!!

It Also massively slows down Explorer operation, from 1-2 seconds to load (without QtTabBar) to 10-15 seconds with it.

It *is* a rather nice little program once it's running, but it's just too slow and too scary for me.

"doesnt work"

totally usless. should have been checked before allowing it on this otherwise good website. when on the desktop the window to drag folders and links to is about 10 pixels wide and 30 pixels high and won't change size. the instructions are non- existent. i don't think any software should be online here without proper instructions.

"Cool!"

Just what I need! Now I only need one single explorer window when organizing my files. Saves a lot of hassle and space on the task bar. It appears under explorer's menu: 'View' > 'Toolbars'. To place the buttons and tabs where you want, just deselect 'Lock Toolbars', also to be found in the 'View' menu. Then you can drag and drop around the elements, eventually activating 'Lock toolbars' again when you're done.
