 | "Good, but..." Don't about this latest version yet, but the just previous vers has a NAG as OP commented. Not so cool. So, I had to revert to a slightly older version with no nags.
Otherwise, a cool app. Because of the nag I'm giving it a "4" rather than higher.

 | "Terrible!!!!" Earlier versions were terrific & a joy to use.
The last few versions have a NAGWARE screen that prompts you to buy the full version, & always reminds you on launch that hey, THIS version is only for personal use, DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN GET A KEY FOR FULL VERSION?
Etc, etc, etc.
Note: It is probable that this could be edited out with a hex editor, but it just isn't worth it with other freeware out there. I am keeping my older version of this, & if you need a good freeware, try the Pix Resizer by blue 5 pair software instead!

 | "Better Than FastStone!" I think VSO is better than FastStone, image results are much smaller.

 | "good one" I own a Canon Rebel Xti and it works with the RAW format, and so it is a very good point. Nice interface.
