Pros: After looking at 8 or more html editors, this is the one that suits me. The macro feature makes development and maintenance very quick and the file handling is great. Cons: I didn't write it??? Other Thoughts: Spend an honest hour learning to use the macro facility and you will not give it up!Was this review helpful? 47 out of 92 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: I have used this since the earliest versions and loved it up until the 5.x series. The interface and resource load is horrendous. I went back to 4.x for a smoother running easier to use HTML editor. The Version 4.x series is the best HTML editor there is.Was this review helpful? 60 out of 115 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: been using this for YEARS. have license to use Visual Interdev, but keep coming back to this. have been recommending it others for years and being made fun of cause everyone wants to use Interdev, or FrontPage or something else.
upgraded from 3 to 4... installed the newer Java version but came back to 4. Was this review helpful? 65 out of 135 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: This program is unsurpassed for ease of operation. However, it has one crucial flaw. If you have more than 3 or 4 pages open and are viewing them through the internal program browser, when you try to close the pages out, you will always get a "program has performed an illegal operation and will close down" warning; the program will then close down. The last time I used the internal browser, and tried to close down about 5 pages in successive order, everything that was running closed down, and I got fatal-exception error, blue-screen warnings for all of them. I had to shut off the computer and run scandisk to restart.
The only way around this is to use your regular web browser as the preferred browser, but the problem with that is that if you are on a webpage you want to stay on, the HTML program will take you away from that page so you can view the page you are working on.Was this review helpful? 58 out of 115 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: This is the best HTML editor there is, no doubt about it! You can get as close and naked with your code as you can with Notepad, or you can be an absolute beginner and use intelligent wizards (with brilliant color schemes) for everything! Supports CSS, JavaScript:- everything! Instant View, ecetera, ecetera!! I love the guy that made this program, I sent him an Email - unfortunately I wasn't intelligent enough to get a reply: but he did warn me! Forget shareware and glamorous skins: this is the best coding experience since Notepad! Was this review helpful? 52 out of 107 users found this review helpful.
