I have this on my PC.It's good.Supposedly puts out 'Phantoms'if your PC Data information such as history,Most Recently Used files,(MRUs)Win Media Player History etc, is viewed by an intruder or your surfing habits are being monitored while online.
So no need to surf the net through a Proxy server, or installing anonymous surfing software.8 in 1 features are cool.But if you look at the pic of the product you'll see displayed 3.? not v4.And 2 or 3 of the features in v3.8-9 are missing.The deleted files,initialize garbage,and messenger blocker.So, go with 3.8.3.9 is similar, but I think it sucks, and I had a few problems with that version or something.I forget, as it was so long ago that I used v3.9.

| 5 | 2006-08-30 | | | | "3 Better than 2007 version" I think 'v3'IS better than 2007.Why?? 2007 has more features,sure, but if you apply the 'Intruder block' it blocks your downloads from sites,even though it probably when active,is blocking a bad site...A site with bugs trying to attach themselves to you...
'Banner block' on makes bright things dull, kinda greyish and boring...
Movie block sucks...
Yeh '3'doesnt seem to block any 'pop-ups'.But I think '3' is better....the screenshot shows version 3, but when you download is it 4??

| 5 | 2006-06-30 | | | | "Works Great" I use version 4.2.7.5 and it works fine for me. It does exactly what it says and sometimes even more than I expected. It even asked me if i wanted to allow the file analyzer Winpatrol to run when i first booted it. I thought that it just helped with internet cleanup but it also seams to check on system status as well. It has never crashed for me or caushed any real problems, but i have heard that it has caushed problems for other people. I suggest downloading it, and giving it a try and if you dont like it, then get rid of it, but like i said I HAVE USED IT AND I LOVE IT. It has never caushed a crash or blue screen for me, and I think it is a great utulity. The only thing i have to caution is the fact that it is made in Russia, and Russia doesnt have a good reputation for internet programs. It doesnt seem to be corrupt so far, but you never know what may happen with the company. GIVE IT A TRY

Ver 3 worked great, but, as I have also read in other reviews so I'm glad I'm not alone on this, version 4 will probably cause your computer to crash constantly. There was no problem with ver 3, it was pretty much perfect, but I've stopped running it since version 4 because of the constant reboots. If you really want the best of secretmaker, search the internet for Secretmaker ver 3

| 2 | 2005-03-25 | | | | "Mixed Reviews" As usual..the split in users views yet again.I have been asked to check loads of users machines when various programmes have been blamed for crashes etc;and know what..in 99.9% of cases its been user induced by faulty configuration or incompatibility with other apps.This programme isn't resource hungry.integrates well and does the job for me without a hitch..Just goes to prove that getting a prog to run equally well on all possible configurations out there is no mean feat!!
