| "Only IE-based" The problem with this searchbar is that it is only available for IE. The developers say they have Firefox version in the works but they have been saying this forever.
As an alternative, it would be good if it could be used with an IE-based browser but there are stability problems with this - and some browsers won't accept it all. Ironically, it won't even work on the company's own Advanced browser -which seems a bit of an oversight to me.
Otherwise, this is a good toolbar. I have had no spyware/adware problems with it. It's just a pity that it realy only works with IE.

| "Title of Review" I've used it for several years with no problems of any kind. Words cannot convey the usefulness of it. I would'nt want to be without it.

| "Avoid..." Avoid using this, as it will pick adware or may have it already in the software.Maybe they pre-install it in the software, so you can run it and see it works ok...Mmm..Who knows...
If you get adware, and yoiu have installed say; 'Hijacker retaliator', and your browser gets Hijacked, this will send it into an annoying frenzy via pop-ups warning you you've been hijacked, no matter how many times you fix it and set it again.Some have a feature that will tell you immediately if you in fact have been hijacked,and it's best to turn this off.Sometimes these are written as 'Real-time watch' or 'auto-scan every...'

| "Yes...I agree with..." Yes...I agree with some of the reviews here staing AT is bad. If I recall, I installed it once, ran Adware SE and it picked up adware from AT.But it was so long ago, it may have been 'FREE SHIELD'toolbar...Can't remember...I have tried many toolbars as such, but found the only one free of adware before installing was 'Yahoo browser with anti-spy'.Then after downloading it for the 3rd time, i found the 'Anti-spy' toolbar featured wasn't even in the download.It never appeared /inon the toolbar...Weird...Avoid free toolbars as they do contain hidden adware,and cause your PC browser you chose to use to be hijacked regularly.Even if you have 'Browser Antihijacker' installed.Which Will then annoy you to death, with pop-ups stating your browser has been hijacked....

| "No problems" Runs great, easy to use, and has piles of features. They had a write up in Newsweek, that's where I read about it. Great toolbar.

| "Foolbar!" I spent the whole day wondering what was wrong with my computer. You know the dance. I tried everything I could think of. Then I remembered that I'd installed "Advanced Searchbar" this morning. I uninstalled it and ran Advanced Window Care and IE is running like new. No self-respecting surfer should download this bag of tricks.
