Other Thoughts: I've been using GreenBrowser for about four years now. And, as good as it's always been, each release of the browser gets better and better. GreenbBrowswer is still noticably faster than almost any browser out there, running much faser, it seems, than even Firefox or Opera. GreenBrowser is also rock-solid stable, chalked with all kinds of terrific features and tweaks, and it contains NO adware, spyware or viruses whatsoever. Personally, I think this is the best of all the currently available Internet Explorer-based browsers bar none. Other Thoughts: Does not equal AVANT 11.0 build 39 on features or functionality. Has potential to compete with Firefox in the future. Microsoft's rendering engine is a plus.

Other Thoughts: Everything based on IE engine is a piece of CRAP!!! ActiveX always has been big bs, the biggest security flaw on the internet ever!
So if you need a good browser without this rubbish, then use Firefox. And if, from time to time, you need to open a webpage in IE, then use Firefox extension 'IE Tab' which opens IE embedded in a Firefox tab.Was this review helpful? 82 out of 147 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: I am an Opera user, and I utterly hate IE. I am wanting to try other great potental browsers, but does Green browser use active x? If it does then I think this browser is not for me. IE uses active x, which is its biggest security flaw. Active x was supposed to be used for easy transfers on business intranets, not for personal internet use. In all reality if one only uses the internet like every other average person then one does not need active x.
