"Better then most!"

Running the release of IE8 now, and i gotta say it is better then most other so called browsers out there. Not as good as Firefox or SeaMonkey but almost. It is secure and have lots of security features, and as always it works all the time. What you other guys have been doing to get a lot of problems like "Phrank" for ex, who obviously even cant configure a browser, i don't know. But for me it is one of the top 3.

"Utter Disaster"

I have lost my home page. I can't find a way to delete or uninstall this virus. Users beware. It's a cancer.

"Definitely getting better, but..."

I've been running IE8 beta 2 for about a week now. Overall, I'm impressed by the browser's many new useful features. IE8 B2 also seems to run a bit faster than does Version 7. So, things are definitely going in the right direction. However, beta 2 has some serious bugs in it. Most notably, I've experienced an ongoing problem where RoboForms (for reasons unknown) insists on running on when IE8 B2 visits certain web sites. That wouldn't be bad except that RoboForm reloads over and over and over until IE8 crashes. Very bad. Another problem is that when IE8 can't interpret (or ignore) badly written JavaScript, it simply closes without any warning whatsoever. So, clearly there's some work to be done before IE8 comes out of beta. Still, if its stability problems with RoboForm and JavaScript can be ironed out, this promises to be a very impressive version of Internet Explorer.

"Confused"

I would have given this a 5 except after installing and running it, the menu bar and the icons underneath the address bar were all black. I couldn't figure out how to change it so I did a system restore. Unfortunately, it restored me back to beta 1 with some features of beta 2, like the right click context menu with items on it that I can't use or delete. I then tried to uninstall beta 1, but windows can't find the uninstaller. I have no idea how to uninstall service pack 3. I'm very disappointed. Anybody know how to fix the right click context menu to get rid of the accelerators I can't use? Managing them does nothing. I even tried using Shell Extension Viewer from Nirsoft but they aren't listed in there either. As I said, I'm very disappointed and giving them a 3. If they could make it easier to install and run, then I would give them a 5.

"average at best"

its not "awesome" ,pretty far from it. not much different to ie7 and the development rate has been overtaken by wind erosion. its security fixes have not worked, its interface is still dated and dull, its slower than firefox, the new advanced phising safety filter dosent work, and it still has crap add ons.only good thing is the automatic crash recovery. apart from that it needs a shed load of work yet..
