| "matter of taste" Opera is a very fast and save browser. I always install new versions. Mozilla Firefox is still the browser for me, but Opera is a very good second!! One of the best and savest browsers around!

| "Opera 6.61" simply the best, the fastest, the coolest, the sexiest browser, period, it beats all other browsers in customizition, preferences, security, functions, options, name it, it's got it all and it does it well, and it's the lightest on memory on top of that, you can't go wrong with Opera

| "Opera 9.6 is Outstanding!" I have used many browsers over the years, including opera. I was hesistant at first to download opera since the last time I used the browser, it was a dull experience. Let me say that Opera 9.6 has brought Opera a long way since it's early days, and I would rank it above IE and Chrome among many others. All they need to do now is add some browser utilities as on the scale of Firefox 3.0 and they will actually surpass the later. What I found fascinating was the way Opera 9.6 allows one to customize the look and feel of their brwser, including changing the colors of each theme. In conclusion, I'm using Opera 9.6 as my primary browser now.....Outstanding!

| "Opera browser" The fastes browser arround. One bad point, it is not 100% complient with a very small number of web sites. This is no problm as you can still use IE (its quite good really as it reminds one of just how slow IE really is!)

I don't understand the overall low rating for this very fast and save browser - with firefox the best and most reliable (very save) browsers on the market and completely free of costs!!
would like to give it a 10!!

| "Wonderful experience..." Opera has always been my favourite browser and version 9.51 and 9.52 has strenthened its spot there. It is much better than IE7/8 Beta and even Firefox 3.

| "My Opinion on this...." I have been using Opera for like sooo long and I never had any problems with it at all. It simply is the best. And for all those who simply hate it. Why bother going to the download page anyways? It may have some small issues but other than that it simpy tops other browsers out there! It really is stable, I used it on a computer with a 600mhz processor with 64mb of ram. And it worked fine. I suggest for all those who had problems with this, try uninstalling it and installing it again.

| "@ohsoabusive" My friend I am not talking abt yahoo classic. yahoo classic works fine.Its only the new yahoo mail which causes problems.The browser just performs its functions in a totally wrong way. For eg: It scrolls up when I rotate the middle wheel in a clock wise direction when it should scroll down.

| "What are u guys talking about?" In Opera, I hit F12 with only javascript & cookies enabled while logging on to any of my yahoo "classic" email accounts just fine. No problems.
System: old P4 3.2G/1G RAM.
BTW still using Opera 9.27 just because I'm not sure if I like where Opera's headed with these updates.

| "Very good." I was a foxfan but after tryin out opera I must say that I am impressed.
Pros:
1-Good dark skin.
2-Renders pages very fast almost like Firefox 3.
3-Easy access to RSS Feeds,Bookmarks etc.
4-Can take down notes while browsing.
5-Very very very Smooth scrolling.This makes the browsing experience pleasurable n fun.
6-Wand remembers all the passwords n helps in Log-in in just one click.
7-Fast start up.
8-Mouse gestures for going back to pages in history which is kinda kooool.
9-Speed dial whhich is very intuitive.
Cons:
1-Incompatible wid some web pages for eg-yahoo mail which is very annoying.
2-Useless widgets.
3-poor customisation facilities.
4-Clearing private data takes a long time.

I recommend this browser for those who dont want to use firefox but want somewhat the same speed as forefox.

| "v- 9.51" On 2kpro..
I think it still has some download association problems, primarily with media and sometimes it doesn't remember.
It needs to clean up its clean up act a bit... when I have set to erase Everything, upon closing, I mean Everything -- except Content Block (it's a good thing I have CCleaner).
But largely, it's working very well (of course after the customization [read, delete some buttons] and preference settings).
Also, despite that it has a very good and powerful 'Block Content' right-click feature that remembers a visited site, this is more so for after the page has loaded.
Opera doesn,t offer any add-on or widget ad-blocker (for those who surf a lot, visiting many pages that likely won't be visited again)
