"A Fine Browser"
This version is a lot faster than the previous one. The only thing with this one is that small images and small graphics on a web page look poor quality-kind of blurry. by: Al | 5 | 2009-11-01 |

"What market share?"
This "1% market share for Opera" slogan can be found plastered here & there throughout the net, apparently copied from one site to another over years. What does a market share mean for a FREE product? How is the 1% figure calculated?
Besides, can popularity be automatically translated to quality?

"All in one"
cyberbellee,
why on earth u rate this software b4 u even download it?? ie control market share, is it mean ie is the best??
for me, opera not the fastest. the thing is, good ui, stability, reliable, all in one in a 8mb installer, best rss reader. it makes me stick with opera by: aku46 | 5 | 2009-10-20 |

"Opera 10 Final"
I tried this new version found the browser for the most part really nice. While it does have pop up blocking it lacks the ability to get rid of the most annoying ads. It it wasn't for this I would use this browser. If you don't mind the really annoying spam adds you'll like this browser. by: Cage | 3 | 2009-10-13 |

"simply superb"
i cant understand why i never tried this browser a long time ago!!
it simply hammers the rest by a long way.
i was always a firefox user and i was happy with it until the last few updates, now firefox is very overweight and requires a lot of fuel in return for buggy, sluggish performance.
i could never use explorer as its simply ka ka although it is out performing firefox at present time.
someone told me about opera on a digital forum im a member of and im glad he did.
i like the feel and look of opera, its smooth as silk and very quick.
there are plenty of add ons to keep you busy and some of the themes are the coolest ive seen yet.
i know this might look like im a opera employee or something but check my other reviews and you will see i call it how i see it, im genuinely blown away with this browser.
do yourself a favour and give it a whirl and spend 10min setting it up,you wont be dissapointed. by: stuart | 5 | 2009-09-21 |

"Thumbs up"
I have been using Opera since version 5. Innovative, fast, small footprint, low resource usage, better memory management, and compatible with older versions of Windows.
Opera is not popular because
1) It is not open source.
2) It had ads for non-paying users.
3) It used Java script at a time when it was not popular. This led to greater security, but years ago there were many incompatible web sites.
Based on statistics, IE is the most popular. So popularity does not equate the best.
Opera has gone a long way, and still leading the pack. With all the available features its installation size is still small. Most websites now function well on Opera. by: star_fighter | 5 | 2009-09-08 |

"Just Wondering"
I haven't use this browser yet but I would download in order to try. I will make further comment later. Just really wonder, if most of the review praises this browser, why it haven't been on the mainstream. Less than 1% for almost a decade now. by: cyberbellee | 3 | 2009-09-07 |

"Best of All"
I've been using Opera for over 3 years and have been impressed with its overall improvement in development and operation. Used to use Netscape and Firefox, but only used IE during my introduction to computers about 20 years ago. Didn't know any better then and have never used IE since. Don't trust it, especially since security is my greatest concern. Bottom line? Opera is the "Best of All"!! My congrats to the development team, especially those who have the intuitive knowledge and foresight to know what users really want and really need. by: Computer John | 5 | 2009-09-02 |

"Superb - as usual"
I simply love this browser. I've been using it for years and it just keeps getting better and better. They've improved the speed dial and made it much more configurable without having to hack. Excellent by: Ray Martin | 5 | 2009-09-02 |

"The fastest browser just got faster"
I've been using Opera browsers for 10 years now because Opera was always the fastest browser. Today, I use Opera Mini on my cell phone, Opera 10 on my home computers, and I use Opera Link to synchronize all my bookmarks, scribble notes, surf history, and browser settings.
My three favorite features of Opera: 1) the ability to turn images off for screaming-fast surfing, 2) Turbo mode for compressed web pages and faster surfing, 3) a built-in torrent download client for easy "downloads", and 4) the Edit Content right-click feature that lets you block ads from specific web sites.
I don't care much for Opera Unite because I am not interested in running my computer as a server, but the rest of Opera rocks. by: Manuel from Los Ange | 5 | 2009-07-19 |

"Good"
I used to use a combination of Google Chrome, Iron and Opera. Now I just use Opera 10 beta. I think its best feature is the Opera Turbo button. Can't wait for the final version. by: Mike | 4 | 2009-07-16 |
