- minimalistic GUI, makes browsing easier
- small download, fast install
- lots of add-ons Cons: None at all Other Thoughts: Don't listen to all these people below me. They clearly have no idea what they're talking about. I've been using Chrome for quite some time now and it's never given me problems. It's fast and has a nice layout. Pros: Previous version worked. This one crashed and a total dud ??? Cons: Got error message and could not start after this latest version update. Had to uninstall and clean registry/system to start over again. Re-installed and staying w/ver 11.0.696.771 for now. Other Thoughts: Always liked google but they seem to be getting sloppy. Pros: simple to use with tons of add ons. Cons: slow,,yes its slow, uses way too much resources, crap interface.. Other Thoughts: How the hell can this piece of crap become so popular!,,its junk of the highest order!
Google claim its the fastest,,newsflash,,Opera puts rings round it and is much faster.
If you are using an older machine thats on its limit for power then forget it as this eats resources,,has anyone actually looked at their task manager when Chrome is running?
Maybe you should,you might get a fright.
Then there is that god awful interface that frankly is an insult, did a 4 yr old design it?
I tried it for one day and i was giving up the will to live.
It struggles with certain pages in youtube even though its flash player is up to date and sometimes it refused to load pages on Wiki,,,ah mean come on, there is nothing on a Wiki page, it should load it in an instant.
So i added some extensions, wot,adblock,similar pages and when i checked my task manager i find seperate entries for the add ons.
Are Google the new Microsoft when it comes to building buggy bloatware and using their market power instead of creating a reputation for making good software.
I hate the way Firefox and Explorer have copied Googles look of a browser designed for kids and reatrds that requires a shed load of add ons just to make it work properly..
If your a brain dead retard who has vegetables for parents then this is the browser that you will want to use.
If your selective about the programs you use and have some tech savvy then avoid this one or try it for a laugh and wonder why so many people think its cool...

Pros: Well organized interface and only the basics are shown. This make it sleek and fast. The 'sandboxing' is some sort of great feature to ward off harm that one may get from wandering in the worldwide web. Cons: I started testing Chrome since version 5 up to present, I can confirm with great certainty that Google is spying on its user through Google Chrome. After all it is Google business to know what the you are doing in the internet. It pretend to look for update every 2 hours or so and you cannot disable it in the setting alone. Chrome cannot yet beat Firefox on addons which whatever handicap it may have can be overcome by installing some addons. Other Thoughts: I few millisecond difference in speed is hardly noticeable unless you are using a very old computer. So comparing browsers using this criterion is irrelevant anymore. I shall put more emphasis on security in choosing a browser and definitely I will not choose a browser which will protect me from threat other the threat present from the browser itself.Was this review helpful? 80 out of 170 users found this review helpful.

Pros: The browser is extremely fast to render pages and browse the web. Cons: I find the browser to be too simplified where it insults my intelligence. Google chrome even words things like it is talking to a 7 year old. Most of all it has stripped all the features from it. I hope that firefox does not follow in such footsteps. Other Thoughts: I think that google chrome is a frontend for cloud computing which I do not trust or like on an extensive scale. Yes, I do use some of the cloud computing which is web email and like. But even with email I backup locally. The feel as if the internet is the local pc makes me feel uncomfortable. Google also has manage your printers from the cloud now on in that browser. Pros: - Cons: - Other Thoughts: A fast browser, but very humble in functionality. There's not even a proper add-on for smooth scrolling available. The add-ons I found are all crappy.
