Even though Core FTP LE 2.1 did not advocate for its portability, you can make it portable by copying all files to a thumb drive after installation. Remove the thumb and uninstall CoreFTP. The thumb can run on its own. That is portable by definition. However, beware if you carry the thumb around to other computers because the user login names, and passwords are saved in the Host computer rather than on the thumb itself. If would be perfect if those info are saved on the thumb and leaves nothing behind on the Host.

"Huh?!"
Wow you must have a super size resolution. The buttons aren't smaller than any normal program. This is actually a great program and I highly recommend it!

"Core FTP Lite 2.0"
GUI is still plagued with problems:
1. minuscule buttons (hard to use)
Even when you right-click for larger buttons, they're still very small, yet there is plenty of room for the program author to have made them larger. Duh! Do it right!
2. Save current windows settings option now missing - meaning that when you change the size of the program window and exit the program, it does not retain all of the changes that you have made and automatically reverts back to the default settings. What a pain!
Overall, it's time to look around for a better free FTP client.

"Used and kept"
This software is good. It does what it has been designed for. I use it to maintain my web site. It is a good job.
