 | "Make it Portable!" Very good program! Even pulls photo covers of the DVD. I made mine portable by installing it first and then copying the Movienizer directory from the c:documents and settingslogin idapplication data directory to another PC and now it's a portable application I can take anywhere.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO MAKE IT PORTABLE:
1. Have a USB thumb drive, at least 1 GIG in size.
2. Install the setup program to the thumb drive, such as - g:program filesMovienizer
3. After installation is done, copy the following DIRECTORY: c:documents and settingslogin idapplication dataMovienizer.
4. Put this directory with the g:program filesMovienizer files or wherever you installed it to.
5. Copy the installed directory for Movienizer (g:program filesMovienizer) somewhere safe and RENAME it X:Portable Movienizer, where X is the drive you installed it to.
6. UNINSTALL MOVIENIZER.
7. Now, copy the new g:Portable MovienizerMovienizer sub-directory back over to c:documents and settingslogin idapplication dataMovienizer.
You are only copying the installed sub-directory from the installation and saving it. This allows you to run the program from any PC.
IT IS NOW A PORTABLE APPLICATION. If you go to another PC. Just copy the movienizer directory to :documents and settingslogin idapplication data, click on the movienizer.exe program (where it was installed) and voila!
