thanks is free but when I'm writing the cd dont show the right state of the process and you must only wait and wait .... the rest is full of options.

To the previous reviewer:
If you are experiencing slow burn speeds, it may be going through verification, which will take 2X as long.
Try disabling that in options before doing a burn. Have no problems on my end!

It's like having a free, portable version of Nero!
What's there not to like? Uses little system resources, burns fast, small download size, works in 9x or xp, EASY to use, FREE....
Have used this a while & decided I really don't need Nero, nor Easy CD by Roxio after using this jewel!

Who needs Nero when there's Infra Recorder? For everyday usage at any case enough. If you need a bit more, try StarBurner (also free). But Infra Recorder is fast, small and open source. Nothing better out there!

It's Open Source! And it has everything you need for everyay use! I was looking for an alternative to Nero. This soft in conjunction with StarBurner - and you'll never need any bloated Nero or Roxio crap again! I guess InfraRecorder will be more developped. And within a few months it will have everything, so that I even don't need StarBurner anymore. I really prefer InfraRecorder, because it is tiny, fast, simple to use, and even portable!
