Pros: Easy to use and Fine Cons: Not fount any ATM Other Thoughts: I have tried many burners and always find Nero the best and still using Nero 10. But this StarBurn, I found this a good freeware. Tested many times (Data burning only) and its very stable, excellent. Now I have it o my PC along with Nero.
Some ppl claims here that it did burn their PC instead of CD/DVD, well, their experience, I dint find any such thing, it did not burn my PC or table or room.Was this review helpful?   20 out of 32 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Actually, Starburn does not hijack your homepage and default browser. During the setup process, it asks and includes checkboxes, if the user wants to set their homepage and search engine to Starburn's homepage and default search engine.
If the program hijacked a user's homepage and default search engine, we'd pull the listing immediately.

Other Thoughts: Starburn hijacks your home page and your default search engine. In whichever your default browser Starburn is the worst I've ever seen.
Left me with a crippled DVD RW driver.

"It broke my DVD Drives"

Other Thoughts: I'm sorry, but I cannot suggest it at all.
After installing and rebooting, my DVD drive repeatedly fail to read any support.
I've made the great mistake of installing it on two machines, a laptop and a barebone, and now their drives are broken (i.e. drives cannot even boot from cd/dvd, so it's not an S.O. problem).

Other Thoughts: The complaint exposed by an "anonymous" user that this application froze his burner, seems not to have base with this new version: After multiple tests we can assure that StarBurn 10.5 works very well with that we have.

Other Thoughts: I have been using starburn since version 9 when nero was still not vista compatible and i loved it for its simplicity and low resource usage. Version 10 is even better with more features. It has never failed to burn a CD or DVD and to the reviewer below LSj, i think your case is similar to what some of my friends and i have encountered several times: substandard disks or fake disks.
