This software works better in Vista than XP or Win2000. Also, even if you have DSL connection significant interruption were observed, how much more if you are using wifi. I still prefer internet based viewer. There is no program to install and your security will be enhanced by the browser.

Plenty of ads, every time you change channels or watch them. Besides, it modifies Windows Registry profoundly.

"Could be improved"
I have a 1.5mbps high speed connection, and most of what I've tried was unwatchable because it kept cutting in and out. One thing though I do like is that you CAN get a few cable channels such as Fox News, CBS, and Bloomberg. It could stand to work better for people that have 1.5mbps connections. TV2.0 does it fine. The talk in the message board is dirty.

i realize that most of the channels are working perfectly..
but there are a lot of chinese channels.i dunno.maybe coz i'm currently in asia?
but nick channel and some other channel i viewed were old programmes..meaning maybe my great great grandmothers used to watch those programmes..anyway this is a very good player considering the fact that it's free and working

the image is excellent however there are not many channels offered. There are many more programs that have more channels.
