by: Ballyboy DVD Flick 1.3.0.7
Pros: Does almost everything you need, and it's free Cons: 4:3 and 16:9 ratios are auto, cannot select - a problem with youtube video conversions sometimes. Other Thoughts: Mine WAS slow, took longer to burn than to watch. That was with 7yo pentium 3 pc. New dual core does 3 hr video in 1 hourWas this review helpful? 13 out of 48 users found this review helpful.

"Bad audio synch" by: Woof DVD Flick 1.3.0.7
Pros: A very easy program that takes the complexity out by simplifying the basic tasks. Has a handful of menu style options for variety. Cons: Audio doesn't synch with video. Sometimes has glitches in the video.
Takes longer to burn the DVD than it does to watch it. Other Thoughts: I really liked this program, but the digital blips were a turnoff and the bad audio completely ruined it.
The search for a decent freeware DVD Authoring program continues. Was this review helpful? 26 out of 62 users found this review helpful.

by: Ray DVD Flick 1.3.0.7
Pros: Ultra simple, no learning required.
Flawless recoding and copies.
I prefer quality over speed, and this is it, TOP DRAWER all the way.
No spyware or special requirements or
limitations. Cons: Video Encoding a bit slow, but it is a
CPU intensive task. Other Thoughts: I can't understand the bad comments.
They must be computer newbies. Was this review helpful? 34 out of 72 users found this review helpful.

"works fine for me" by: Tony DVD Flick 1.3.0.7
Pros: Very easy to use and seems reliable. My needs are quite simple and this is ideal. DVDs created play on my DVD/TV and uPlayer (which I also recommend as a free player). Cons: It's slow on my ancient 2GHz processor. The DVDs I have created do not play with Windows Media Player (not that I care). Other Thoughts: NoneWas this review helpful? 41 out of 83 users found this review helpful.

"DVD Flick is no good." by: Maniac10
Other Thoughts: I have been using this every now and then and let me say its no good. The video and audio never sync in. So the words never match the mouths. I run a high end computer and the program still has programs. There are better DVD programs than this. Was this review helpful? 52 out of 114 users found this review helpful.

"Very good program but lacks video shrinking" by: Thunder
Other Thoughts: This program is a great video to dvd comverter n burner. This version is faster than the ones before too. But I found that it lacks a video shrinking encoding. Furthermore, I don't know if it is me, but a time ago I tried to burn some video clips on a cd, cause it does have an option to burn on cd instead of DVD disc, and it didn't work for me. Could it be that i'm doing something wrong? If anyone got the answer please share it. thats why I'm giving it 4.Was this review helpful? 51 out of 105 users found this review helpful.

"easy & effective" by: Mike J
Other Thoughts: DVD Flick works very well for me; verifying ensures no "coasters." I stick w/ a 4x write speed for surer playing on standalone players. The latest version is appreciably faster than the old ones. Nice for novices, once you set the defaults, like NTSC in the U.S. & Canada. Was this review helpful? 50 out of 106 users found this review helpful.

"Da Best!" by: Timecop007
Other Thoughts: Thanks to this neat program, I scrapped my Intervideo Windvd Creator 3 program (a program that I paid for!) DVD Flicks was able to cram 41 music videos on one DVD, a feat that WinDVD Creator could not do without crashing. This program performs well and the price is right (Free!) This is the only DVD creator program that anyone could want. It's not bloated with unecessary glitzy garbage and it gets the job done. A big thumbs up!Was this review helpful? 52 out of 100 users found this review helpful.

"dvd fick" by: Wazi woo
Other Thoughts: As a free software program it is very good. It allows you to create menus and chapters, and is great for freeware. It does however take a while to compile the dvd, and also it only has very basic menus available. You don't have the option of importing custom pics for your menus, and customizing them. This is where it falls short of commercial software. But for someone wanting something for free, it is very good. Was this review helpful? 53 out of 112 users found this review helpful.
