"Good software with some catches"
It has a very nice and intuitive interface and supports lots of formats.
Unfortunately it's adware and the author rips off open source projects like FFmpeg and MPlayer by violating their licenses.

BEST, easiest to use freeware converter. Would score a 5 with full NTSC support (comes w/ PAL support), your burner can do the rest. Outstanding converter- multi format from your DVD or AVI (PSP, Ipod etc.)... and it actually works.

To avoid having the adware garbage installed into your system, just unzip the installer into a directory and run from there. Fixed! no adware installed.
Apart from that its truly great freeware.

After converting files to MP3, all tags of the original are lost and have to be insert manually. This is a real let down and hhuuggee time consumer to restore the tags for use on an mp3 player. Please, can this be fixed?
