This is an excellent program in a lot of ways, but I've recently been having problems with it spontaneously quitting if I try to convert more than 2 or 3 files at a time.

Convert ANY unencrypted DVD files as one solid movie. Now I can watch all my movies on my computer, no sweat. Seems to work great on XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

I specifically tried this to convert an ASF files, but it couldn't even display the video (!).
I later found Internet Video Converter which did the job without fuss. So I'm sorry, XMedia, but not a keeper for yours truly.

It is one of the excellent freeware video converter i have ever use and it works much better than Mediacoder & Avidemux , just use it and see it`s results how it works for you easily

"Nice program"
I recently got a cell phone that plays video and wanted to convert some TV programs to 3GPP format and upload to the memory card. I tried format factory and convertvid but either the video or audio was messed up. Xmedia worked great and it was the easiest for cropping. I'm still new at this and I'm sure there are more functions that I don't even know how to use yet. But so far I'm impressed.

Convert .avi to .swf not working (i get empty file with 0kb). Other formats working, but its very slow, if we compare with (for example) with FormatFactory.

xMedia has a lot of options, what i really like is converting my 4.3 to 16.9 wide screen. My problem is I can only use it once, and have to , reinstall to make it work again. Still gets a 5!
