"Acid Pro + Mixmeister + Video + Free!"
Ok, i'm learning to love this software. It's like a combination of Acid Pro and Mixmeister, plus video and it's free!
Right now i'm working on my first DJ mix with it and while it's easy to use with a good work flow, i found at least two major problems:
1. For some reason, TrakAxPC can't read songs that have been analyzed before by MP3Gain. A workaround that works for me is to load these songs in Mp3tag, select them and press the "save" button. Weird, but it's working.
2. Surprise: No equalizer! low/mid/hi envelopes are much needed for smoother mixes between songs, please add them TrakAxPC!
Overall it's a very promising program, i give it 4/5. by: DM | 4 | 2009-06-21 |

"Not bad!"
A good freeware alternative to ACID - not perfect but not bad either. by: AmirM | 4 | 2009-05-29 |

"render"
You can also render your mix to wav or wma by right clicking in the mixing screen and selecting 'render as' in the drop down menu. by: cb | 5 | 2009-03-30 |

"You can save Audio"
I just played with this for a couple of minutes and as I suspected you can render Audio files
Should but not as usual File save as but there is a render buton on right just above the top by: Gazmania | 3 | 2009-03-23 |

"good but it not let you saving as music"
It letting you saving as the mix file! It does not do the music file saving!
Easy however no saving the music file-format however. by: me | 3 | 2009-03-22 |

"Use & Learn"
I've been a TrakAx user for about 6 months now. Right off the bat, I was able to see the usefulness. There's nothing free that's better out there. The only way not to love this program is if you don't know what you're doing or your computer is junk.
This is great for recording musicians, loop artists, video producers, voice over artists... you name it. It's very easy to use & learn. I've never had a stability issue & you can render to various formats. This program is like any other tool. It is up to the user to gain the skill to get something out of it. by: ISDAMan | 5 | 2008-05-06 |

"playschool"
I try this software. The user interface is not really easy, and not clean. The audio edition is not very easy and not precise. Too plastic for me. by: Abdel souma | 1 | 2008-04-05 |

"NICE!"
looks really sweet... i like the look of those multi tracks and the wave editor hopefully when I've done installing it i will be the best piece of free ware on my comp by: Musician | 4 | 2008-03-27 |

"Very very nice!"
Just had a quick play with it, and it's a very cool software, especially when considering the price.
Looks like a great freeware alternative to Acid Pro, i'll vote for VST/i support
althought not sure it should go into the DAW world, maybe it should stay on the "free easy to use remix/mash-up/dj sequencer for everyone" route.
And yes, a portable version would be nice. I've checked and it leaves too many folders on the hardrive - on My Documents, Application Data/User Name & Local Settings. It also writes its settings to the registry. by: Danny Hyde | 4 | 2008-02-14 |

"portable pleaseee"
Another vote for portable version :)
It looks cool and i really want to try it but i only use portable applications (doesn't like installers & apps that writes to the registry).
Thanks! by: alex | 3 | 2008-02-11 |

The interface is somehow clear, no much problems yet.
Can render only wmv compressed video format. Very often stop responding at 100% and I can't see the result.
Good.
