I don't know why I don't the same feeling as those who applauded, but I cannot find the most basic tools:
1. No timeline where I can slide to the time position I want.
2. There is no visual wave pattern even when the audio file is being played.

"Free & Excellent!"
Excellent free wave,mp3 editor and converter. To the developer : please make the Cursor jump back to the beginning when the track ends.

"It's free for me"
To the previous reviewer: I've used this program several times without being prompted to register.
You also said the "lowest price" was $59.00. Is that to say there are other, higher prices for the same program?
Please share a link to a registration page requiring the user to pay for the software.

"Poor"
Although listed as a free editor it is not. The lowest price once you download it is $59. That is ridiculous!!!

This wave editor is very nice. It's fast and has a simple interface. Even though this program is designed to edit existing audio files, a recording function would be nice where you can record from the mic, line-in, or what you hear. There does though seem to be a problem that occurs when I click File>File Properties. The audio gets a little stuck briefly if I maximize or minimize the main window, and also when the audio playback reaches the end. Not a big deal I guess, just thought I'd mention it anyway.
