 | "Great basic media player" I tried this tiny little player out of curiosity, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. The tiny memory footprint (about 2 megs) of this players makes it perfect for listening to music while playing online games without bogging down your system. There are, however, a few areas where EvilPlayer could go from being great to fantastic.
First off, a toolbar with stop/pause, start/play, skip, etc. would be a godsend. It's kind of a pain to right-click and use a menu for these functions right now. Make the interface more intuitive!
Secondly, since I normally use Winamp, I find myself really missing the media library. It would make creating playlists so much easier.
Beyond the above issues, there really isn't anything to dislike about this player. It's fast, light, plays most popular file formats, and it's free. Worth checking out!!
