Pros: I uploaded 400 extra MP3 songs to my Windows Media Player and was having problems with Windows Media Player then not continueing to play down the new play list so I installed Quick Time Player and that was even worse so I went looking and found this great piece of software nice free and small and plays any folder on your computer with music you choose and plays song after song....Fantastic Christmas has come early! "Fine mp3 Player"

Pros: Very useful small directory mp3 Player with amazing output sound.I've been using this for over 2years. Cons: From Version 1.71 onwards, this does not plays files exceeding 50mb like concert recordings-320bits,and the settings window is also not good.So,I switched back to Version 1.70 which is excellent. Other Thoughts: + Really great directory player
- Basic play/stop controls would be easier if placed at the bottom, & all the other controls at the top
Play + pause can be combined to use the same button. Stop can be eliminated, & fast forward/rewind are the other 2 buttons that would be useful.
I would give this a 5 if buttons were simplified & seperated, perhaps at the bottom to make controlling the player less confusing.
It isn't too bad, but with all the buttons jumbled with all kinds of options at the top, it can slow you down when all you want to do is play (Quick! Which one of the 19 or so are play?) etcWas this review helpful? 47 out of 84 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Because this player is so small, it uses very little resources & loads lightning fast!
I like changing the background from the default black text on white background, to either green background with white text, or black background with grey, white, or light blue text.
Totally awesome for playing your music, & playing it fast.
My only quibble.... The buttons & controls for play/pause/stop/skip could be more like media player classic controls, which would truly make it much simpler.

Other Thoughts: after winamp versions, itunes, media monkey and a few others, this one does what i really needed it to do. List my media QUICKLY, have random, fix the little mp3 tag errors.
Why not 5?
* can only fix 1 mp3 tag at a time
* no background image jpg option
* can pause during play of a mp3 off a slow network
