"Great!"

Because this player is so small, it uses very little resources & loads lightning fast!

I like changing the background from the default black text on white background, to either green background with white text, or black background with grey, white, or light blue text.

Totally awesome for playing your music, & playing it fast.

My only quibble.... The buttons & controls for play/pause/stop/skip could be more like media player classic controls, which would truly make it much simpler.

Other than that, really nice program!

"The Best"

Small, simple and very good reliable player. I've been using it for years and had never any problems. Good work!!!!

"finally"

after winamp versions, itunes, media monkey and a few others, this one does what i really needed it to do. List my media QUICKLY, have random, fix the little mp3 tag errors.

Why not 5?
* can only fix 1 mp3 tag at a time
* no background image jpg option
* can pause during play of a mp3 off a slow network

But seriously the one I use everyday... solid!

"Great little application"

I love it! Now I don't have to use that windows media player that sucks up so much of my old computer's resources. 1BY1 is small, efficient, and free! What more can you ask for? Thanks a million!

"less is more"

another good example of the maxim "less is more".

a great little program, a versatile music player that does not hog the system resource.

"A very pleasant surprise!"

1by1 1.62 was a very pleasant surprise! The installed size is a mere 136KB and the player uses 5MB of RAM on my machine running XP Pro and a 27GB music library! I can't believe the sound from this tiny player! I'm running an Xtreme generic sound card, nothing special. The nice touches include a cross-fader, playlist shuffle and very good player configuration options. I have the player running as I type this review. I can't get by the sound! It rivals any audio or multi-media player that I've ever used! You can copy the installed file to a USB stick drive and run the player on any device with a USB port; with your music files on the USB drive or on the device that runs the player! Kudos to the code writer(s)!!!

"Small is best!"

This is so small but works so well. It doesn't bother reading all the MP3 IDS just works on the files so if you have a huge library like me and they're organised this is the player for you. If you don't then use it for the low CPU and great sound enhancer - even makes my PC speakers sound great! Get the tiny plug-in for CDs and you can use it for them as well.

"This is amazing!"

This is 101 KB. And self installing! And it works good. Now this is code writing at its best. Superb little gem.

"Slick Player"

No need to make playlists - just point to a folder and play it. It's small, fast, stable, and now my only player on my laptop.

"Be Careful"

I used this for a while and it plays great but when I used the option to change an Mp3 tag it changed everything to that same tag!

"The Best Minimalistic Audio Player ever existed!"

Can't see what's wrong with it.
It boasts as the smallest audio player in the net, and it definitely shows.

If you want to play other audio formats, just grab a plugin from winamp and you're all set.

Can't go wrong wih it.
