I was missing WinMX at http://www.vladd44.com/mx/ the other day when I stumbled upon something incredible. There is a group out there calling themselves MXPIE at http://www.MXPie.com. They have put together an easy to use update that will once again allow you to connect to the WinMX network. Their update contains no spyware, adware or any other form of malware.

Along with their help, and getting my other computer problem sorted out at http://www.gemini777.net , I was able to enjoy WinMX at http://www.vladd44.com/mx/ better than I ever was before. Not only did they get me connected, they helped me fix my other problems as well.

WinMX was possibly the best File-sharing program ever... Excellent download rate... But I sense they will ressurect themselves... I hope they do, was the best of the best.

WinMX is simple, easy and good. It only has one main flaw. If a download cuts off, in my experience you will HARDLY EVER get it back connected. I used this program for two years until I found Warez. WinMX is simpler, smaller and more technical but I prefer Warez because of it's speed and ability to re-connect files. There's probably faster P2P programs out there that I haven't found, but WinMX is recommended if you want some speed, no adware or spyware, no subscriptions and a simple interface.

"Easy to use"
Winmx is by far much better than other P2P's i've used such as Kazaa, Sharaza, Warez - with easy to use commands and settings. The appearance has a very "technical" feel to it and gives the impression it is a very robust application (which it is) - never had it fail or stall on me and have downloaded (and shared) many files. Ability to restrict your outgoing bandwith is a key feature and highly recommend if you are looking for a stable and effective P2P with access to all file types. Would recommend using MxMonitor or other related anti-leech software.

You will need some time at first to unlock the secrets of winMX but when you do, you will not regret it.....ahhh and it is spyware/adaware FREE!

Search and avaced options and features are awsome, but that distracts the user from the major flaw of the program, it takes too long to connect to users for downloading files. Don't use this program, use Kazaa Lite.

"Great search - Clunky Interface"
I use WinMX regularly, but somewhat reluctantly. If the interface of the program was to be completely redesigned, it would be a top notch file search program. As it is, the actual functions are outstanding, but the look and feel leave a lot to be desired.
