Pros: - Looks great
- Works good Cons: - Not portable Other Thoughts: WMP 11 is the best version of Media Player that MS ever created. It looks better than the other versions, & it works better.
For those of you wanting something to play it all, try KMP + WMP 11 skin + dll to play real media files.
Or, VLC + WMP 11 skin... Or AIMP/Gom/SM Player/Media Player Classic.
I believe KMP or VLC will play the most formats though...
But WMP is the best they ever released. Too bad the WMP took a backwards turn in Vista & 7. Why couldn't they release this kind of media player for Vista/7? Why change something thats works great? Other Thoughts: This is the greatest media player I had. I tried (and I hate!) Quicktime which I still "have to" use because sometimes I work with apple computers. I tried Winamp and I ditched it. I have used Itunes ... I quickly ditched, except for use on the Mac where unfortunately there's no other option.
Windows Media Player 11 for XP has been the best. Fonts are large enough for my poor eyesight to read. Great layout. Very happy with this player.Was this review helpful? 61 out of 126 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Well, you guys aren't a true music lovers. Memory is the everything for you guys. I don't mind how WMP consume memory and CPU Usage (Well it's slow though). I love WMP's TruBass & WOW Effect. WOW Effect isn't free actually..Microsoft Buy it for WMP! And we could use WMP for free! So, what else? It seems to me like Microsoft's software is getting worse with every new version. WMP11 is so slow, and it uses up way too much memory at one time, which is noticable on old PCs.
