"I'd give 10 stars if I could"
This is the greatest media player I had. I tried (and I hate!) Quicktime which I still "have to" use because sometimes I work with apple computers. I tried Winamp and I ditched it. I have used Itunes ... I quickly ditched, except for use on the Mac where unfortunately there's no other option.
Windows Media Player 11 for XP has been the best. Fonts are large enough for my poor eyesight to read. Great layout. Very happy with this player.

Well, you guys aren't a true music lovers. Memory is the everything for you guys. I don't mind how WMP consume memory and CPU Usage (Well it's slow though). I love WMP's TruBass & WOW Effect. WOW Effect isn't free actually..Microsoft Buy it for WMP! And we could use WMP for free! So, what else? Simply the best :)

this media player breaches your security and doesnt give you control over bitrate so your ripps sound awful , this is known to us programmers as crapware , JET AUDIO is what you really want its the best hands down and its free.

What can I say except this is simpley the best because it integrates with Windows flawlessly. But then again "How can you beat a program for Windows written by Windows?". Great version I highly recommend it.

Now how could this be an editor's pick? Get AIMP, it's 1,000 times better than this, and works better on computers with little RAM too. It seems to me like Microsoft's software is getting worse with every new version. WMP11 is so slow, and it uses up way too much memory at one time, which is noticable on old PCs. So how can you do other tasks while listening to music? Hmmmmm. Oh I know: Get AIMP!

How the hell do I get this crap off my computer? I updated WMP to 11, now none of my music works and it won't accept any of my MP3 players. Oh and the new internet explorer; shove it up your backside!!! It's all suppose to get better!
