 | "This is Free? Awesome!" This program is awesome - just as good for green screening as the thousand dollar program that's out there, and easy to use if you ask me. Just import the video and select the type of chroma filter to use, and it has a LOT of options. All I need now is a green screen, I can probably make one.

 | "Just what I needed" It takes some time to learn, but it's powerful and fun once you get the hang of it.

 | "It really ain't that bad...In fact, it's pretty cool." Okay, initially, ZS is a rough program to get used to. However, once you do, you'll find that it can do quite a bit more than even say Pinnacle Studio 8, sad to say which I foolishly purchased. Anyhow, get past the unorthadox editor format, and you've really got quite a jewel. And heck, it's free! What more do you want? Trust me, with it's chroma key, overlay, and multi track capabilities, you can pull of some really pro quality stuff...that is if your willing to work at it...and work at it some more. Go for it. Kudos to the Z dudes for a good f-ware program.

 | "hard to understand" yes it is hard to understand.. when i tried to go through the tutorial but was still unable to understand.
It looks like it has a lot of features if you could only figure how to use them. Zwei should go back a redesign his interface.

 | "one better" suggestion:
how the heck do I add transparent overlaying links over the clips>
It seems to ME the dvd and internet advertisers could market just about everything in side a movie lenth clip:
see a pepsi click on it *Bam $1 off coupon - see spit hot car *Bam
pull down a menu with financing, carcam, nearest one from my location - train a new worker via a video with faq built right in to objects in the clip .transparent cut to size/full view or just a second long on a product in a prize finding treasure hunt. first one to register at the address in the link gets the loot
Anyone one know how or where i can find such a video with hyperlinks editor .
Oh yea I think Zwei-Stein Video Editor v3.00 is great works well with firewire and vhs too i use in tandem with my screen capturer to creat excellent jpgs for my personalized icons
