Absolutely awesome in every way; it does what Corel's WinDVD 9 could not-play DVD's on my XP 64-bit system.
MPlayer is my defacto everything to do with music and movie playing.

Yes, it can :)
I would like to thank for the author for creating this software. Except MPUI he didn't write anything, as far as I know, but he managed to pack the best parts in town to a compact, easy to use package.
I think SMPlayer has the best UI among all the players, looks good and lets me easily tweak the most common options, like choose subtitle, or audio channel. Almost everything is included and easy to reach.
Few things, I'd like to see soon:
- automatic Aero detection and setting compatibility if needed
- E-AC3 support
- AVCHD support(I guess, that's the least supported among all codecs, only Win7 WMP and VLC plays it, but none of them do it flawlessly; there's also an AVCHD Player Lite, which plays it very well, but the program is plain simple...)

Perhaps people should use their eyes and find the "Browse" menu, before complaining? ^^
