Pros: - Plays videos in ISO container files
- Plays many video/audio formats
- Excellent capture filters
- Audio controls work great Cons: - Videos with menus stored in ISO container files may play oddly. I am not sure if the latest release fixes that or not... Other Thoughts: I used the WMP 11 skin for KMP, then set it to save the settings to a .ini file.
I set it NOT to randomly change colors.
After inserting a .DLL file to play RAM videos, this little player can play nearly anything!
Now, I can have WMP 11 look, while being able to play nearly any video type in Windows 7.
Windows 7 media player forgets its settings on close & reverts to default.
KMP to the rescue! Seems to do everything I want, except ripping/converting files, but I can live with that since it does play nearly everything & since it does excellent capturing video...Was this review helpful?   10 out of 30 users found this review helpful.

Pros: Has everything you need for playback of media files. Cons: Displays nag screen that tells you to install KMPlayer 'the official route' after updating to v3.0.0.1439. This only happens when logged in as normal user, not when logged in as admin. Strange message, doesn't get away, can't find a workaround. thats got to be the worse I have seen.
Plus sometimes on xp a film will run at
fast forward but play normal on 2000.
on unistall it wants to ring home to mommy. Other Thoughts: why black its ugly..
I went else where..With so many .i think there is better..many will be happy, until

Other Thoughts: Easy to use. Didn't have to download any codecs or anything. Played FLV without problems. Picture quality wasn't 100% but that might have been my files. Love it.
