 | "Best free time lapse software out there" I was looking for a long time to find a time lapse software to capture a whole day on my webcam for free, there was a few good ones but they were all shareware (that expired after a few days), and the freeware ones i found were either not finished yet, didn't work, or were very complicated. But PerioS 0.3.3 is the best free time lapse software out there. It might not be the most functional like some of the one you have to pay for, but if you are just looking for a simple software that when you click "start" it captures images every few seconds at any interval you like (1,2,3,4,5,6...) and then when you click stop, it allows you to export into an avi file of any fps from 5fps to 60fps (Frame-per-second, how fast you want the video to play the period captured). It also allows you to make the avi file Compressed or Uncompressed. The only bad thing is that it doesn't allow you to add any effects, or add backround music to the avi file, (But you can do this in a software like Windows Movie Maker anyway), you cannot view your webcam live from this software or any other software while it is taking pictures, so if the capera is knocked out of place by mistake and you don't notice it you will have a bad video at the end of the day, and it saves all the images indevidually in a folder until you create the avi file, but these are minor problems.
(Note:The quality of the pictures depend on your webcam).
I highly recommend this software.
