Pros: Its simple,small,finds the tunes you want, quick at downloading. Cons: None worth mentioning. Other Thoughts: This little program is one of those hidden Freeware gems that you stumble across from time to time.
If you are using one of those awful p2p programs like Frostwire that is usually malware central with awful default settings then here is an alternative.
This program ticks all the boxes for me, its super light on resources, its so simple to use that my mum could use it,its interface is basic so don't expect thousands of options and eye candy and so far my anti virus has not had to intercept any bad downloads.
It also has options to download video from youtube and some other little handy features.
The only problem you might have is that it requires netframe 3.5 which it will prompt you at install if you don't have it.
On W7 Ultimate it was no problem as 7 comes with 3.5 loaded but if your running Tiny7 it doesent recognize 3.5,this isn't a problem with the program,tiny7 is heavily modified with many hacks for performance and this does cause problems with certain programs.Was this review helpful? 24 out of 46 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Without a doubt is a formidable tool for search (by song, artist or album name) and download of MP3 music and avi video clips. Also look for the lyrics using the default browser.
Its interface is very simple, but it offers much information as possible of what we want.
I know commercial utilities that claim to do the same if you disburses 30 or 40 bucks by any of them, but none are as efficient and as small as Songr 1.7.3, an application that is free.
NB / @ Phil: I think your problem is caused by Internet connectivity either by options employed or by the system's default browser. Try to see how the settings are on the other PC and see if are the same as now. Good luck.

Other Thoughts: I have this installed on one of my computers and it works very well, However when i try to run it on another computer i just get "songr has encountered a problem and needs to close"
