Forget Adobe - this program is wonderful! Quite often, I need to add notes to a pre-existing pdf, and this program lets me do so. The typewriter function is very handy. It's much more smooth than Adobe for viewing multiple pages.

Surperb easy to use PDF Reader .It gives you free annotation tools (drawing, typewriter, comments) WITHOUT adding a watermark unlike Foxit Reader . You can print "current view", which allows you to kinda crop things when you print them.

It's the only PDF viewer that let me insert a comment or change the background of text. For printing, does the task well too.

I cannot really believe (almost) nobody else out there is ever printing a pdf file!?! I thought this was one of the standard features but obviously only Adobe knows how to print...sad but true. I just started a print job (text only), brushed my teeth, took something back to the fridge, and THEN went to the printer... still not a single page! Sorry, but this is just poor.

"So good I bought it!"
I cannot say enough for this software and I ended up purchasing it because I am a Writer and require Reviewers to provide feedback for all my documents. I send each Reviewer the Portable PDF Editor (available) and ask them to insert their comments directly into the PDF. They now all love this tool! The PRO version is not that much different than the free version, so unless you specifically need this in your job, just use the FREEWARE version. Just a super piece of software! You can even add your own images, JPGs, such as DRAFT, REVIEW, etc., but the freeware provides the basic ones already for you.

"The best"
Used to work with fox-it but pdf exchange is even better. Like a few have said I agree it has some issues with printing. But to be able to make some notes on the pdf directly is super.

I was looking for a way to fill out forms for my converted pdf files and print it out...I was told that I needed to buy the adobe editor...but fortunately, I found this and works just like the way I want it!!

This is a great tool for modifying & or reading a PDF. But I must agree with a couple of the other folks, it does have issues with PRINTING pdf files. Smaller PDF's print ok, but larger multi-page files take a long time to print out.

I am surprised that there are still people that does not know this novel pdf viewer that goes perfecting conforms to go leaving their bring up to date. And more I am surprised Tracker Software to continue offering free all the utilities that we know to the viewer from the beginning, now that they have incorporated it the PRO tools. In sum, the one that continues with Adobe Reader, is getting lost a series of advantages that PDF-XChange Viewer offers without some cost for the user and with hardly a tenth part of space in the hard disk of what demands Adobe Reader. A gift one cannot reject this way so easily!

If you want a PDF application with real editing and export features, this is an awesome program. If you are looking for yet another PDF reader, take your pick. There are plenty of programs that, um, read PDFs.
