doPDF creates smaller files that are readable in Linux. oOo has a "Save as PDF" feature and that is OK too.
Personally I prefer Flashpaper though - all you need is a browser & flash player for your OS.

"A change of heart"
It has taken me 20 days to reconsider this application and a few interactions with linux fedora 8. It is feature rich and a very straight forward application once you take time to read its well explained and illustrated manual. The Pdf documents produced by this app are just fantastic not to mention readable in linux. Most the Pdf's i had from magicPdf were not readable in linux. You can also merge Pdfs with primoPdf. Take your time with this app and you will really love it.

"Good but not the best"
I give this because i have magicPdf and it is smaller simpler and does not mess the appearance of the watermarks after coversion. I am very sad that i have to uninstall it.
