Adobe Reader 10.1
Pros: If you want to convert Free PDF books for most ereaders you need to use Adobe. If you paid for books it would be reckless to leave them unprotected. Adobe moved ahead of the crowd on this one. Never had a problem with Adobe licensing. Cons: A lite version would be wise. Other Thoughts: It is not my default PDF program so I loaded it on my laptop. "Way too bloated"

Other Thoughts: Haihaisoft PDF viewer is an example of a program that is only a few mb & still does a fine job reading PDF while adobe loads who knows how many files, takes up who knows how much space, & is slow as a snail.
I have a fast system, sure it can render it fast, but I mean slow as in compared to smaller programs that use a single EXE with no problem to do the same job, & are tons of times smaller & faster than this bloatware.

"The size really doesn't concern me"

Other Thoughts: I have over 21,000 files taking only (GB on my 74.5GB hard drive, and expansion is not a problem for me, so I really don't understand all the whining over drive space.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a PDF veiwer that you can highlight text and it opens to the exact same spot you closed it get PDF-XChange Viewer! It's free c'mon now.

Other Thoughts: I rate this a 3.
Program is good, but is over 20 megs, just for a reader.
Foxit is 10 times smaller, & almost that many times faster than adobe bloatware.
Sure they make faster processors & computers now, & that means comanies need to take ADVANTAGE of that to make faster apps.
