For over 10 yrs., this has been the 1st program I start, and the last I close, when my PC is on.
TreePad is a must-have, IMO!
(I also own two of TreePad's shareware versions, but have never abandoned this little free jewel.) I've seen somewhere, that a new version of this TreePad freeware edition is about to be released. Can hardly wait for it! This is what brought me to FreewareFiles today, BTW. Well, it's not out yet, I can see...but I'll be checking back often, now!

"Elegant"
What an elegant little program.
It worked for me right off. The documentation is 100% on. I can find no bugs or errors. It totally replaced my Virtual Basic PIM. And, the price is right.

i paid $127 for the same thing before i knew that freeweare is koolware so just slamdunk this one too!

I personally use TreePad Plus, which only cost something like $20, but if you wish to use a dbase that is simple and easy to get to grips with, having plently of variety for use, then this is it. There are a number of editing and storage features on offer. And this will certainly whet your appetite for the registered version. Remember, this program has been going for some while now. Enjoy.

"The best"
I use it from years ago. A great advantage on others is all notes are keep in a simple text file in the right order, so you can read from linux. I find the version 2.7.3 the more stable and you can jump more easily to a linked file with hotkey.
