 | "Messed up My System" I installed this product on an XP machine, ran it, and "cleaned" my registry. After cleaning, it managed to bugger up my whole system. Thank God for checkpoint restores or I would've lost my entire livelihood!

 | "Works well on Windows XP" Well, I can't comment on the reviews stating that AML Free Registry Cleaner caused problems on NT computers. However, I've been using AML regularly on my Windows XP machine for several months now and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. It definitely finds registry errors that other reg cleaners miss. So, if you have Windows XP, you may want to give this little utility a try. Personally, I think it's very good.

 | "Be Carefull" It is a great cleaner but can clean out more than the junk and leave you with a complete system reinstall.

 | "AML Free Registry Cleaner" It does a great job to clean out unneeded and or corrupted files. And best of all, it is free.

 | "v- 4.3" I swear it was listed as being 2k compatible before ... maybe it never was.
Oh well, that might explain some things.
From what I saw , I'd say it's worth a look (for you compatible types)

 | "Aml version 4.0" Wow my computer is SO much faster now, found 600 odd problems and fixed them.
So far seems to be free also. Not like most that say they are free and only clean 15 errors. Watch out for the Brothersoft site - it is done in such a way as to make you think you are downloading this program but it sends you off onto one that is not free.

 | "v- 3.2" On 2kpro... basically, nothing has changed from my previous observations (of the 3.o) except I could run it 2times in a row ; that is , until it totally froze itself when I tried to edit the Exclusion setting.
What a waste of an apparently very good detection algoritm.

 | "v- 3.0" Better?.. can't maximize the interface (I find it much easier/safer to read, especially this type of data): has a "delete selected" as if one can tally a list of items to delete but one can't-- can delete individually (one-by-one), all or exclude , so it lacks a functional flexibility and still will not run 2times in a row. Has a very good algorithm but it needs to have a "tick/no tick" box next to each results entry . Also , its Wizard doesn't show its Exclude listings-- some "wizard", eh.

 | "v- 2.0" Hmm, well, I can't hardly imagine what version:1 might have been... On 2kpro, the only positive I have to offer is that it appears to have a good algorithm; however, after initial run, I tried to run it again but it would not reset -- only reboot would allow another scan (closing/opening didn't effect). Some other features missing..generally , just too one-dimensional for such a tender program category but I'll give it a 2 cuz I think it has potential...
