| "Works Well" I have been using this software for several weeks with very good success. I test software and have tested at least 20 different registry cleaners and hundreds of other programs. Most registry cleaners fall into the category of very safe and don't do much cleaning. Some fall into the dangerous category and clean things you don't want removed from the registry. A few fall into the middle ground, as I feel this program does, and do a very good job. Perhaps for the average user a very safe program is the way to go. For someone who is constantly installing and uninstalling software a registry cleaner has its value. Takes too long to do it manually and if not cleaned up lagging entries from previously installed programs can affect the installation of new programs installed.
I would also say that there is no one registry cleaner that is right for everyone. It depends on your OS system, the types of software installed, how well a PC is maintained, etc. Declaring any software bad for everyone is not justified. One works well for one person while it does not work well for another.
If you desire a registry cleaner give it a try after you backup your system and create a restore point just in case the registry backup fails if you do have a problem. Restore does not take that long.

| "Good Reg Cleaner" This is a pretty good registry cleaner. But you have to be careful with ANY registry cleaner, they can clean a little too much and cause problems. Use them with caution.

| "to the previous reviewer:" No one tells people not to use it, just to be aware that it made serious problems to many people's computers. That's exactly why i like this site - i can read many opinions before i try the software and not only the fan-boys "reviews" like "THE BEST" etc.

| "Great Reg Cleaner" All you people who don't like this Reg cleaner (or any other for that matter),that's fine. But what gives with telling everybody else not to use it? Just don't use it yourself. I prefer to make my own mind up as to what I do or don't do,thanks very much.

| "NOT Reliable!" Pick or not - according to some of the other reviewers (not included the fan boys) it's a registry destroyer, and definitely not reliable... stay away from it and go with CCleaner's SAFE registry cleaner - unless you like to reformat your system once in a while...

| "Dangerous" It's dangerous to use. After running Argente, I had serious problems with system stability. Some programs did not run properly, crashed, etc. Fortunately, Argente offers the possibility of making a backup and then to restore - what I did. Then everything was fine again. However, too dangerous for me. What if you think everything runs fine and then after restart Windows doesn't boot anymore? Uninstalled it for good. Rather use CCleaner's built-in regcleaner, which is safe.
