I already use 'Karen's Directory Printer' which is excellent. So I thought I'll give Replicator a try. Used Syncback free version so far, which is great. But Replicator does it just as good, so I might switch over. Also love the cosy software name prefix "Karen's" which makes it feel more "made by a human".

I use Karens Replicator for backing up data to dvd, as I find it does that faster than Syncback free version,which is my main backup program. It's certainly one of the better backup programs out there. As others have said,the interface could do with a makeover, but it works well & that's what matters I suppose.

I tried several other file backup apps before installing Karen´s Replicator 3.5.3, this is the best freeware file backup app! Once you get a handle on the functions of the GUI, the rest is a piece of cake! The Help file is excellent; I had several questions about options, and the Help file took me through the solutions first time. Don't let the bland GUI scare you away; the functionality of this app is first rate!

I have been using Replicator to keep the data files on my desktop and laptop computer in sync for several years.
It's fast easy to use and very intuitive, The only thing it lacks is support. I've sent several messages with a question but never hear back. I still like the program and will continue to use it.

Replicator is a competent backup program. It does just about everything you need to do to keep important files backed up. Too bad the GUI is so ugly and confusing. It makes me not want to use the program on a regular basis, and that is not acceptable to such an important task as backing up my data. In these days of C#, there is no excuse for a program that ugly.
