"The best!!!!"

CleanMem 1.6.0
Pros: Works as it says it does, the new monitoring feature is just what this needed. Cons: None whatsoever. Other Thoughts: In the past I have rated this low, because it was hard to tell whether it was doing anything, now it has the new monitor and it works great!!! Other Thoughts: Maybe some people are getting differing infect alerts because of the way the program author(s) created the addition to Task Scheduler -- runs every 30 minutes.?
I've been using it for months and
as a test, I too downloaded from the mirror this time and have found nothing (I use Firefox browser, Avast, Spy bot as a scanner and a couple of passive protectors) with no apparent problems.

"Virus Total Results"

I downloaded this file from the mirror site listed on the authors website. I even followed the authors instructions and ran a check with Virus Totals website. Much to my surprise the result showed up from that download as a "Trojan Virus". The name of the trojan is listed as "Trojan/Refroso.atgs". According to the author running a scan on virus total was supposed to show the file was clean. It didn't.
Keep in mind, I downloaded this from the mirror site on the authors website.
Whether it's a false positive or whatever, this program hides itself from view and expects you to trust that's it's helping your computer. I wont be using this program.

I,ve done thorough scan on my pc, nothing wrong (what where the names of the trojan?)
Anyway, seems to work well (I have another app. that shows the RAM)
Is unobtrusive, so far -- one may forget it's even there. if not for the Start menu.
I'd like to have an option of having a Tray icon displaying available RAM (and maybe indicating when it's "working")
3 1/2 rating but I'll give it a 4

Other Thoughts: This one optimizes RAM without pushing data to the swap file or any lag! More memory and performance for free. I recommend that you put an icon to CleanMem.exe on your quicklaunch and run it manually too. Essential for PCs with less than 1 GB of RAM and good for all others. Other Thoughts: Of all the RAM optimizers available, CleanMem is the best hands down. Unobtrusive, relaible, and stable, not what you get with other optimizers like Fast Defrag. CleanMem cleans the memory out of all processes that it can without forcibly cleaning the memory out of processes that still need it, unlike many other programs. It does NOT clean by maxing out your RAM, which causes major lag of your system, and it is used simply by installing and forgetting about it. It runs every 30 minutes via the Windows Task Scheduler, and it operates so quickly that windows thinks that it CleanMem is crashing, therefore any errors that are found are nothing to be concerned about. By far the easiest to use, runs along side of resource heavy 3D games, and I have yet to experience a lag on this laptop while CleanMem is running (Dual Core 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM.)
