"An alteranative to RAM level optimizers" MKN MemoryMonitor 2.0 is an alternative to RAM level based optimizers. I'm running MKM MM on an AMD based machine running XP Pro with 512MB of DDR RAM. Most memory optimizers are time based or set to free RAM at a preset level of memory, MemeoryMonitor phases in swap file (page file) usage as available RAM decreases. The one downside is more frequent swapping between physical memory and HDD paged memory, it does somewhat slow the machine down due to more frequent HDD access. The upside is fewer screen freezes and crashes from low physical memory (RAM). XP does not run well with 512MB of RAM, MemeoryMonitor has made XP a little more adaptable to my available RAM. by: farpointstation	4	2008-07-06
