| "v- 2.31" It's all in the settings.. don't set it too high.. some do dig too deeply... Unpacked , it's set at full RAM (that's insane), try 50%.
Check out its System Config tweaks, very good.
Go though its Options, as well.
Properly balanced/set.. it's works well for me.

| "it's crap" I tested several freeware defrag progs, this one as well. And it's pure bs, absolutely slow and ugly. Better get Auslogics Disk Defrag (good and a neat appearance) or JkDefrag (which is VERY humble, but fast and perfect in its function - technically seen; yeah it's for techies and nerds).

| "Nor Fast Nor A Defrager" Went through mixed reviews and decided to try it my self. It really has one thing which takes all the pain.... It can be uninstalled... That's in my opinion is its best feature. It will make your machine feel like a 386. I'm running a 2 Ghz with 1 GB RAM and it made it work like a dead horse. Don't waste time on this trashware.

| "v- 2.31" It's excellant; every feature it contains works and works reliably. I've tried the 12+ or so Ram optimizers FreewareFiles offers , and this is the only one I've found that is Not unstable, target auto trigger actually works, tray icon reads closest to true RAM , has startup optimize and that works, and is fast to free up and maintain Ram integrity . I used to use WinMem 5.2 but it became quirky. I suggest setting startup % at 50% as with Guard feature ..all other defaults are good base to tweak from in their customize function. Right click on tray icon to manually freeup Ram and right click to display interface.

| "I tried them all....." Use RAM IDLE LE if you are using Windows XP or don't use anything at all. FreeRam XP will screw up Webroot Spysweeper, Rambooster 2 won't perform like Ram Idle, and this garbage is just not worth it. Trust me, I've tried them all and with 192mb RAM, Ram Idle Le works the BEST and will impress you.
