 | "Finally!" Finally I can have a Windows installation the way I want! It's so easy! Even for me as someone who knows very little about computers. Just start nlite, point to your installation cd or a folder with the copied content of it and the wizard guides you through. Almost all options are explained when you roll over them with the mouse pointer. Just tick all boxes with stuff you don't want to have installed. And the best is that you can integrate service packs and hotfixes also directly. Nlite does the job for you automatically - including creating a cd image or burning the cd instantly when it's finished. Just great! And it's free!!!

 | "1st thing you need to understand about this program" It is not meant to be used on a running system. It is meant for a new install.
If you don't get that then you have little change of being an advanced user.
This program is meant for advanced users that have a good sense of what the setup is doing.
Newbies can use it if they want to become advanced but if you are one don't complain while you are learning to use it.

 | "" Microsoft has completely taken the end user off of the equation for updating the
Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems.
The Redmond company has pushed a collection of 18 updates for both Vista and XP,
that installed on the operating systems not only without the users' consent,
but also without their knowledge.
The updates were downloaded and deployed through the Windows Updates.
Without any information being presented to the end users.
Microsoft is not delivering any information on the updates.
And the code is unavailable as a standalone download.
The Redmond company has also failed to officially comment on the issue.
Fact is, that Microsoft, via the Windows Update, has done so without user authorization,
and without bothering to provide any data.
This raises questions over what else the company has been doing to the users platforms
behind their backs.

 | "THE END" Microsoft killed the initiative designed to supply offline Windows updates.
The AutoPatcher project is dead, courtesy of Microsoft. Antonis Kaladis.
Taking AutoPatcher down is an illustrative example of Microsoft's policy.
The Redmond company aims to be the only online source for updates.
Microsoft failed to offer an official explanation related to the faith it decided for AutoPatcher

 | "Secure and Speed Up WinXP" It is an awesome software, I removed almost everything, my Windows folder has 400 MB now and IE7 along with WMP 11 work fine even without services like Event Log or WMI. WinXP setup takes only 10 minutes. You can burn ISO with ImgBurn (freeware).

 | "ohmygod" Another program with great concept, ideally would be the greatest, but it has a glitch, the ISO file it creates sometimes doesn't work and you have to keep changing write speed on your burner app.
