Other Thoughts: carolinabell1860,get Eset nod32 U E & fix(insane)from Mini nova torrents,install and run virus checker,and your virus problems should stop.As it auto updates and prevents viruses etc before they can install on your PC.It contains no bugs or problems as 1 reviewer might suggest.I am using it right now.Have Avast 4.7 Pro as a backup,bit defender as a 3rd.Avast resident shield will be stopped/minimized but no worries as Eset is good at what it does that I earlier suggested.Was this review helpful? 24 out of 46 users found this review helpful.

Other Thoughts: Seems to offer option not to collect data both during installation and in program options. Don't understand the previous reviewers point! Other Thoughts: I am posting a 3 for this app although I haven't tried it yet. I really needed to make a comment. To be fair to andrew, I see what you mean about some of the previous post. As does anyone who tries freeware files with any regularity. After spending last weekend formatting to get rid of a Trojan, a worm and a virus I'm not ready for a repeat this soon. Other Thoughts: @Andrew: so if I want to discredit a software, I might as well post 3 enthusiastic reviews with 3 aliases, just keeping the rhetoric similar enough to "lead a suspicious person down the primrose path". If you want to play it smart, then be smart. I'm rating this software a 5. Am I a good guy, or a bad one? Neither or both! Other Thoughts: I highly recommend PCPal. With all the wealth of different PC tools that address different niches, this seems like one that you should keep on your desktop. Helped me fix problems with my startup programs, found my printing problem and some more stuff.

Other Thoughts: PCPal seems to attack the problem of maintaining (securing, protecting as it claims) the PC in an 'overview' approach - either providing automated fixes for issues it can fix or putting to your attention important issues with instructions on how to fix them - such as redirecting you to install Antispyware program if you don't have one installed.
