"Stay away!"
This program is 100% BS. The program launched as DOS prompt then closed into the background. Now I can't close it and it repeatedly crashes Windows Explorer. by: GuessWhat | 1 | 2008-10-17 |

"Cpu accelerator"
Its a great tool for smaller CPUs that can hanging for a longer time and block for access to a program (explorer.exe)...
Use of this accelerator on a ex. 500MHz intel CPU could be helped with that problem.
Larger CPUs over 2000MHz dosent really require this tool. by: Johnson | 5 | 2008-03-09 |

"Great"
This does exactly what is says - it speeds up most processes by giving more cpu to the active program. by: Dankan | 5 | 2007-09-28 |

"Unacceptable"
Why would anyone use ANY software that has trojans lurking inside it? I confirmed what the previous poster said about trojans in Mz CPU Accelerator. Got rid of the devil right away. by: tony2007 | 1 | 2007-09-19 |

"Trojan"
BitDefender 10 detected W32 Stration trojans in the wizard components of Mz CPU Accelerator v1.5 after it was installed. Same story with the sister app, AutoMZ Ultimate Tweaker. However, I have decided to keep both as BitDefender successfully quarantined the malware. I just hope the author can fix the problem with the trojans, which I assumed wasn't intentionally incorporated in the two apps. by: Barista | 2 | 2007-09-18 |

"OK"
No a bad piece of software, but its very possible that the installation of Net Framework 2.0 may negate any advantage it offers. I prefer "Actual Booster" it has a smaller memory footprint and doesn't require Net framework.. "Version 1.2 versus 1,1"
My previous review of v1.1 is still valid for v1.2. My additional comments are that v1.2 "appears" to more stable than v1.1. Also, I'm running v1.2 in the "above normal" mode rather than the "high" mode. What's the difference? I can't see any. Also, unlike v1.1, I did 2 OS re-starts and the system options held for both re-starts, unlike v1.1. by: farpointstation | 3 | 2007-05-29 |

"Correction of previous review"
While Mz CPU Accelerator v1.1 has demonstrable functionality, it is unstable and causes .NET Framework to crash when running for more than a few hours. Also, the selected system start options do not hold on an OS re-start; I only tested the program on a software restart; my mistake. I'm downgrading my rating from a 5 to a 2 as my previous rating was far too liberal. by: farpointstation | 2 | 2007-05-28 |
